What you'll do
- Lead global strategic sourcing activities for mechanical commodities, heavy fabrications, and structural components
- Perform should-costing, cost analysis, and techno-commercial evaluations for machined, cast, forged, and fabricated assemblies
- Drive supplier development, technical vendor negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives for heavy mechanical parts
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, PM, Purchase, and Operations teams for 2D/3D drawing reviews, tolerance analysis, project execution, and technical documentation
- Support supplier quality activities including destructive/non-destructive testing (NDT) validations, APQP, PPAP, NCRs, and CAPA closure for mechanical structures
