About the role
As our new Senior Engineer, in the Water networks team you will be part of Water department. As a member of the Water team, you will be responsible for carrying out the design for wet utility networks such as storm water, wastewater, potable water, irrigation water, and firefighting water.
What you'll do
- Prepare designs for wet utility networks, including potable water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, irrigation, firefighting, and recycled water systems
- Carry out engineering calculations for pipe sizing, flow assessment, pressure checks, hydraulic gradients, pumping requirements, and network capacity
- Develop concept, preliminary, detailed, and tender design drawings under the guidance of senior engineers
- Prepare design reports, technical notes, calculations, specifications, schedules, and design documentation
- Support hydraulic modelling and analysis for water supply, sewerage, and stormwater systems using appropriate software tools
