About the role
The Dental Assistant is responsible for providing chairside support to dentists during clinical procedures while ensuring a high standard of patient care, safety, and infection control. The role involves assisting in diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic dental procedures, preparing instruments and materials, and maintaining a sterile clinical environment.
What you'll do
- Assist the dentist during clinical procedures, including examinations, restorations, and minor surgeries
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas before and after procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and provide chairside support throughout procedures
- Handle suction, instrument transfer, and material preparation during procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist in documentation
