STP Operator (Contract) - Okhla Industrial Area, Delhi We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) Operator to join our team in the Okhla Industrial Area. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment systems to meet environmental standards and regulatory requirements.
What you'll do
- Monitor and operate plant equipment, including pumps, blowers, motors, and filter systems, to ensure optimal functioning of the STP
- Perform routine inspections of the plant and maintain daily logs of operational metrics, chemical dosages, and equipment performance
- Conduct regular water quality sampling and testing to ensure treated water meets all applicable safety and environmental discharge standards
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery to ensure continuous operational uptime
- Handle and manage chemical inventory required for the treatment process with strict adherence to safety protocols
