About the role
A Regional Plant Head in rubber extrusion oversees multi-site manufacturing operations, driving production targets, quality assurance, and compliance. Key duties involve regional operational management, rubber extrusion process optimization, and leading the Production Part Approval Process for automotive and industrial parts.
What you'll do
- Drive Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and yield
- Optimize hot-feed and cold-feed extrusion lines, die design, and continuous vulcanization/curing systems
- Troubleshoot profile distortion, swelling, surface defects, and line speed synchronization
- Review critical quality documents including FMEA, control plans, and process flow diagrams
- Maintain adherence to IATF 16949 and customer-specific quality thresholds
