About the role
The shift incharge is the owner of the entire plant flow during their shift - not just the lines. They run production across pickling, rolling, annealing, skin pass, slitting and CTL; and they also own material movement on shift: RM unloading and receipt posting, WIP staging with FIFO, FG dispatch loading,
What you'll do
- Reporting To HOD - Operations
- Execute shift production targets across all active process lines and to run shift-level material flow
- Monitoring, SOP enforcement, quality at source, RM receipt, WIP movement, dispatch loading per the
- Achieve shift production targets per active line; track hourly output and correct course when falling behind
- Deploy operators across lines; manage absenteeism and ensure every running line has adequate manning
