About the role
As part of the FACTS Solution Line Electromechanical team, the Lead Civil, Construction & BIM Engineer is responsible for leading and coordinating civil, structural, construction, and BIM engineering activities across FACTS tenders and projects. The role supports the development and adaptation of standard engineering solutions, reference layouts, BIM models, foundation concepts, and construction guidelines for technologies such as STATCOM and SVC.
What you'll do
- Lead civil, structural, construction, and BIM engineering activities for assigned FACTS projects and tenders, including design criteria, reference layouts
- Coordinate engineering deliverables, technical reviews, interfaces, and design inputs across layout, mechanical, electrical, MV equipment, valve, cooling
- Support tenders and project execution with preliminary layouts, civil assumptions, technical clarifications, quantities, and identification of cost, schedule
- Apply and help develop FACTS reference solutions, standard designs, BIM content, and engineering guidelines
- Review and optimize civil and structural solutions for technical quality, constructability, cost awareness, and execution practicality, including foundations, steelwork
