About the role
The Lead Contract Manager, an experienced contract expert with engineering background, shall be responsible for supporting project teams on contractual & commercial matters relating to the negotiation, administration, and performance of projects and various contractual relationships thereto including towards customers, consortium partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
What you'll do
- Working with tender/commercial teams to implement risk control & mitigation through structured exchange of return of experience
- Managing change orders and variations as well as making claims facing customer, partners, suppliers and subcontractors and defense of claims made against GE
- Providing advice on contract interpretation and for negotiation of claim settlements with customer, partners, suppliers and subcontractors
- Providing support as required to legal teams for Alternate Dispute Resolution / Formal Dispute Resolution & Litigation proceedings
