About the role
As a Lead Application Engineer, you will bridge the gap between complex power system theory and real-world algorithm implementation, playing a pivotal role in the global transition to sustainable, green energy. The Lead Application Engineer will provide solutions and create detailed design specification related to power system protection algorithms.
What you'll do
- Create detailed design specifications for implementation of protection and control (P&C) algorithms
- Proof of concept studies using PSCAD or RTDS or MATLAB/Simulink
- Drive the root cause analysis of the incidents related to the power system protection algorithms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to the algorithm, product, and other customer cases
- Author technical papers and present materials at tradeshows and conferences for GE Vernova’s products
