About the role
As a Staff DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical leadership role in GE Vernova Grid Software's mission of enabling a more sustainable, reliable, and resilient energy future by defining and executing the DevOps strategy across the Transmission portfolio, spanning both heritage products and GridOS-based solutions.
What you'll do
- Define and own the DevOps vision, strategy, roadmap, and implementation across the Transmission Software portfolio
- Lead the standardization and modernization of CI/CD platforms, build systems, release pipelines, artifact management
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps practices , integrating security scanning, compliance checks, vulnerability management, and policy enforcement into engineering workflows
- Establish enterprise-wide standards for source control, branching models, automated testing, release governance, environment management, and deployment processes
- Partner with engineering teams to enable cloud-native development practices leveraging containers, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
