About the role
As a Cheminformatics Expert, you will bring chemistry expertise together with quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy of an automated pipeline that extracts substances, reactions and chemistry-related concepts from documents. You will evaluate extraction outputs, identify systematic errors, build high-quality test sets, and collaborate with Data Science and Technology partners to drive continuous improvement of the data we deliver.
What you'll do
- Analysing large chemistry datasets to identify quality issues and opportunities to improve data extraction, enrichment, and structure
- Developing automated workflows and tests to monitor and validate the accuracy of chemistry‑related content
- Collaborating with Data Science, Product, and Technology partners to enhance data quality and enrichment processes
- Applying coding and data analysis skills to design scalable solutions that improve reliability and consistency of scientific data
