We are looking for an individual to support our team in linking our existing taxonomies and ontologies in a meaningful way, applying linked data standards and best practices.
What you'll do
- Design and implement methods for linking and aligning existing taxonomies and ontologies
- Model and maintain controlled vocabularies, taxonomies and ontologies using SKOS, SKOS-XL, and OWL
- Query and manipulate semantic data using SPARQL
- Integrate taxonomy/ontology data with other systems via REST APIs
- Write and maintain Python scripts/tools to support data modeling and integration workflows
