About the role
The Senior CAD Designer will execute detailed CAD drafting and design work for PSP/Hydropower infrastructure including dams, tunnels, powerhouses, penstocks, and reservoir structures. The incumbent will collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to prepare, review, and maintain high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation that form critical deliverables for DPRs and site execution.
What you'll do
- Create hydro project layouts and detailed technical drawings for PSP infrastructure including dams, tunnels, powerhouses, surge shafts, penstocks, and reservoirs
- Collaborate with engineers to review conceptual design accuracy and ensure clarity of technical drawings submitted by consultants
- Review and prepare layouts, sections, and detail drawings for various hydropower systems and structures
- Ensure all drawings comply with engineering standards, IS codes, regulations, and project requirements
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, designs, and revisions with version control
