Director, Maternal & Reproductive Health

About the role

The Director, Maternal & Reproductive Health will provide strategic and technical leadership for RTSL's portfolio to reduce preventable maternal deaths and improve sexual and reproductive health outcomes. The role will lead the development and implementation of a multi-country program that strengthens government capabilities to identify and address barriers to quality care, translate data into action, and deliver measurable improvements in health outcomes.

What you'll do

• Strategic Leadership and Portfolio Management
• Set the strategic direction, priorities and implementation approach for RTSL's maternal survival and reproductive health portfolio
• Oversee a multi-country portfolio, with accountability for program planning, budget development and management, resource allocation
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, establishing clear responsibilities and performance expectations, overseeing staffing and talent development
• Technical Leadership and Program Development
