About the role
Russell Investments is seeking a highly analytical, technology-minded Portfolio Implementation Analyst to join our Mumbai-based team supporting the fast-growing Personalized Managed Accounts (PMA) business. This role sits within a global portfolio management team responsible for implementing systematic, tax-aware and personalized investment strategies across client accounts.
What you'll do
- Support daily portfolio implementation, including account optimization, trade creation and review, compliance checks, cash management
- Analyze optimizer results and portfolio data to identify unusual outcomes, data-quality issues, system defects and opportunities to improve decision rules or workflows
- Work across investment, trading, risk, data and operational systems; determine whether breaks originate from data, configuration
- Use SQL, Excel and other analytical tools to query, reconcile and validate data, support root-cause analysis, and reduce manual checks where practical
- Identify and help implement automation opportunities that improve accuracy, control, speed and scalability, including thoughtful use of AI and emerging technologies
