About the role

As an Import Purchasing Associate, you will support import procurement activities to ensure material availability for production requirements. You will work with overseas suppliers, freight partners, and team members to manage purchase orders, track shipments, and support the smooth flow of imported materials.

What you'll do

• Manage import purchase orders from creation through final delivery, ensuring material availability
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, in Denmark and China, to track order confirmations, production status, shipment schedules, and delivery commitments
• Work with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and teams to ensure smooth shipment tracking and customs clearance
• Monitor open purchase orders, maintain import tracking reports, and escalate potential supply risks or shipment delays
• Update purchase order status and delivery schedules in SAP/ERP systems while preparing regular reports on shipment status, outstanding orders, and expected delivery dates
