What you'll do
- Develop manufacturing process plans and should-cost models for machined, sheet metal, forged, and cast components using engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
- Evaluate manufacturability, production methods, tooling, cycle times, and process selection to optimize cost, quality, and manufacturability
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), PFMEAs, Manufacturing Routers, SOPs, and Work Instructions
- Configure and maintain manufacturing data in SAP and MES (e.g., Solumina), including routers, work centers, and process parameters
- Analyze supplier quotations, validate tooling and NRE costs, and support sourcing and supplier development activities
