What you'll do
- Participate in New Product Development (NPD), First Article Inspection (FAI), product inspections, supplier audits
- Lead, mentor, and coach inspectors, junior inspectors, and designated inspection personnel in interpreting engineering drawings, understanding manufacturing processes
- Conduct quality awareness programs and provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, inspection methods, and customer-specific requirements
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 requirements, applicable FAA regulations
- Communicate quality policies, procedures, objectives, and performance expectations to suppliers and ensure compliance with established quality requirements
