Develop complete design of electro-mechanical assemblies (3D) and 2D drawings of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) for new product designs and modifications to existing products. What you'll do
- Design and optimize sheet metal components, enclosures, busbars, barriers, and other mechanical parts within switchgear systems
- Conduct feasibility study and design analysis to ensure mechanical integrity and functionality
- Create Detailed technical documentation including BOM’s (Bill Of Materials) and assembly drawings and maintain product data in ERP
- Evaluate component selection and material properties to meet performance requirements and cost targets
