About the role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with proven experience in the solar industry to support the design, development, and implementation of solar power projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in solar system design, electrical engineering fundamentals, and project execution.
What you'll do
- Design and develop solar PV systems including rooftop, ground-mounted, and hybrid installations
- Prepare system layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, PYSYST, and technical drawings
- Perform system sizing, energy yield calculations, and electrical load analysis
- Conduct site assessment support and feasibility analysis
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices
