About the role
This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, functionality, and quality of our cloud communications products, including UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, and related applications. The ideal candidate combines strong manual testing and technical troubleshooting skills with experience investigating complex defects across application, network, and telephony layers.
What you'll do
- Own QA activities for assigned features and releases, including test strategy, risk assessment, test planning, regression coverage, defect investigation
- Design and execute manual, functional, integration, system, regression, API, and end-to-end tests for complex communications platforms and related applications
- Independently investigate complex defects and intermittent call failures using application logs, SIP traces, packet captures, Linux command-line tools
- Isolate root causes across application, network, database, and telephony components, working with Engineering to reproduce issues and validate fixes
- Test integrations among PBX applications, backend services, databases, REST APIs, external services, and third-party telephony components
