About the role
Senior Platform Engineer (Associate Architect) – SAP AI Foundation Grow as a senior engineer and emerging architectural leader while helping shape the next generation of enterprise AI platforms at SAP. As a Senior Platform Engineer (Associate Architect ), you will take end-to-end ownership of critical components within SAP AI Foundation.
What you'll do
- Also mentor engineers and contribute to the evolution of platform architecture while remaining actively involved in design and implementation
- Own platform components across design, development, testing, deployment, and production operations
- Identify reusable design patterns and opportunities to simplify system complexity and reduce technical debt
- Develop and operate microservices using Python, Java, or Go. Work with Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems, and cloud-native infrastructure
- Improve observability through structured logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, and actionable alerts
