Upgrade and optimize existing Java and Spring-based applications, improving performance and resolving any legacy issues. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and technologies, proposing innovative solutions to enhance our applications. Document design processes, technical specifications, and system configurations as needed.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and implement scalable Java applications and microservices using REST and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards
- Implement Hibernate for data interaction, ensuring best practices in ORM (Object-Relational Mapping)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users or QA teams, and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
