About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the design, configuration analysis and documentation of structures and ground support systems . This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is curious about precision mechanical design and analysis of space systems and wants hands-on exposure to real engineering workflows used in satellite payload development.
What you'll do
- Assist in mechanical design and detailing of satellite payload structures, optical mounts, enclosures, electronic packages, and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE)
- Support CAD modeling and drawings for parts and assemblies
- Assist in the documentation of configurations and analysis results
- Help with optical support structure and testing concepts
- Assist in documentation : Design notes
