About the role
The Production Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products. This role includes ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), following standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
What you'll do
- Operate pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment such as mixers, blenders, granulators, tablet presses, and packaging machines
- Monitor equipment during operation to ensure optimal performance and identify any issues
- Perform routine maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions and escalate major issues to the maintenance team
- Ensure equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to SOPs
