Senior supply chain role at SBM Offshore in Bengaluru. Needs 5+ years and a B.Tech, B.E. or BBA.

We invest in products and services that enable the transition towards renewable energy, with a focus on Floating Offshore Wind, Wave Energy, and Carbon Capture and Storage.
What you'll do
- The Buyer is responsible to source, negotiate and purchase equipment/services in line with budget, schedule
- Understand the contractual requirements of equipment/service to be purchased and elaborate the bid package together with the relevant disciplines (Eng, Legal, etc)
- Issue Request For Quotation, expedite and collect offers from Bidders
- Fully document the tendering process (i.e. Commercial Bid Evaluation, Recommendation To Purchase …)
- Set up package strategy with close coordination of Package Manager to lead commercial negotiations
