GM Method and Maintenance (Mechanical / Electrical) Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the Manufacturing Engineering (Methods) and Maintenance functions to ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Define and optimize manufacturing processes for Mechanical and Electrical switchgear production
- Drive capacity planning, simulation studies, bottleneck elimination, and productivity improvements
- Support new product introduction (NPI), localization, and industrial deployment projects
- Establish standard work, process flows, and manufacturing best practices
- Maintenance Excellence Develop and implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) strategy
