About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, and lifecycle support of IT Rack and Data Center Infrastructure solutions. The role requires strong expertise in structural and sheet metal design, cold-formed steel structures, materials engineering, industry standards, and product validation for high-density data center applications.
What you'll do
- Lead the design and development of IT racks, enclosures, containment systems, and related infrastructure solutions for data center applications
- Develop robust mechanical architectures that meet performance, reliability, manufacturability, cost, and quality objectives
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, specifications, and product documentation
- Perform structural assessments and design validation for static loads, dynamic loads, seismic requirements, shipping, and transportation conditions
- Drive material selection, structural optimization, and cost reduction initiatives for cold-formed steel and sheet metal assemblies
