About the role
The Purchasing Coordinator supports day‑to‑day purchasing operations by coordinating orders, maintaining supplier and item data, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support production. This role executes established purchasing processes, partners with internal teams and suppliers, and contributes to efficient, compliant procurement activities.
What you'll do
- Prepare, process, and track purchase orders and requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, pricing questions, and invoice discrepancies
- Maintain and update supplier information, pricing, and product catalogs in purchasing and ERP systems
- Monitor inventory levels of key materials and proactively flag potential shortages or overages
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and other internal partners to understand purchasing needs and support timely delivery
