About the role
Generator analysis team is highly enthusiast team of specialist in structural, thermal, data analysts. This team mainly focus on structural and thermal integrity of the direct drive offshore generator and associated auxiliary systems and component designs. This team provides thermal and structural solutions, analyse results, support in testing of the generator, data analysis of the prototype wind turbine and generator performance test.
What you'll do
- Perform structural and vibration analysis of generator components and assemblies to evaluate structural integrity and dynamic performance
- Execute and interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) including Static Structural Analysis, Modal Analysis, Harmonic Response Analysis, Dynamic Analysis
- Lead the development, validation, and continuous improvement of simulation methodologies tools, and best practices for vibro-acoustic analysis, structural vibration
- Conduct vibro-acoustic and structural dynamics studies using analytical and simulation-based approaches
- Perform signal processing and vibration diagnostics using techniques such as Power Spectral Density (PSD) Analysis, Wavelet Analysis, Frequency Domain Analysis
