About the role
We're looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer who goes beyond maintaining pipelines and actively drives innovation and improvement across our build and release processes. The candidate will be responsible for design reusable, optimized DevOps solutions, automate delivery workflows. The role involves close collaboration with development, testing, DevOps Team, infrastructure, and release teams to make software delivery faster and more reliable.
What you'll do
- Proactively assess existing build, release, and deployment processes to find inefficiencies, manual steps, and failure points, and propose and implement improvements
- Build reusable, standardized pipeline templates, scripts, and frameworks that teams can adopt across projects, reducing duplication and onboarding effort
- Evaluate emerging DevOps tools, practices, and technologies (including AI-assisted automation where relevant), run proofs of concept
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps YAML CI/CD pipelines across multiple projects
- Automate build, packaging, deployment, and release processes using PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps REST APIs, and other scripting tools
