About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer for the MRI pre-development team, with strong hands-on development experience and the ability to explore, prototype, and evaluate new methods in MR image reconstruction, image analysis, and AI. The ideal candidate should be comfortable translating early research ideas into robust software prototypes using Python and C++, while collaborating closely with clinical, research, and product stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Develop, prototype, enhance, and maintain MR image reconstruction, image analysis, and post-processing applications with a focus on early-stage feasibility
- Explore and evaluate advanced MR image reconstruction and analysis methods to improve acquisition speed, extract richer information from sampled data
- Developing AI inferencing code, data preparation and model training
- Manage code repositories and version control (Git/Azure Repos)
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and agile development processes
