About the role
The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for commissioning Substation Automation and Feeder Automation systems at domestic and international project sites. The role involves hands-on commissioning of RTUs, SCADA/HMI systems, communication networks and associated equipment, including configuration, protocol testing, troubleshooting and system integration.
What you'll do
- Perform commissioning activities for Substation Automation and Feeder Automation systems at domestic and international project sites
- Commission and troubleshoot RTUs, SCADA/HMI systems and associated communication networks
- Configure, test and analyse substation communication protocols, including Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, DNP3 and OPC
- Configure and troubleshoot PC networks, Ethernet switches, routers, GPS systems, firewalls and related cybersecurity components
- Work across process-level, bay-level and control-level architectures in Substation Automation Systems
