About the role
The System Engineer will be responsible for the engineering and design of secondary protection systems, including numerical relays, Control and Relay Panels (CRP), Substation Automation Systems (SAS), Power Plant Controllers (PPC) and Load Shedding schemes across various voltage levels. The role involves working on projects for Central, State and Private Utilities, renewable energy customers and Process Bus substations.
What you'll do
- Prepare Protection Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), trip matrices, interlocking logic
- Design Control and Protection Panels for different voltage levels and bus arrangements
- Prepare control and protection schematics for generators, transmission lines, transformers, reactors, busbars and other power system equipment
- Prepare FAT, SAT, GTP, TTR, FDS and heat-load calculation documents
- Develop SAS and Process Bus system architectures using Star, RSTP, PRP and Ring topologies
