About the role
We are looking for an IT Technical Engineer – Application & License Management to manage and support the R&D and Engineering (I2M) applications landscape, including software development tools, CAD, CAE, and other engineering productivity applications.
What you'll do
- Manage the lifecycle of R&D and Engineering applications, including installation, configuration, deployment, upgrades, patching, maintenance, and retirement
- Support application packaging, software distribution, migrations, upgrades, and technology refresh activities
- Monitor application availability, and performance to ensure reliable application services
- Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes in accordance with ITIL processes and agreed service levels
- Perform application testing, validation, and post-deployment verification
