About the role
The Bluetooth R&D team at Silicon Labs develops and maintains Bluetooth protocol stack software supporting Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The team delivers scalable, standards-compliant Bluetooth solutions used across a wide range of applications, including data connectivity, device control, and audio use cases such as Classic Audio, HFP calling, and LE Audio.
What you'll do
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Bluetooth protocol stack software for Classic and BLE
- Drive architecture and technical direction for Bluetooth stack features and subsystems
- Implement and enhance Bluetooth features and profiles, including GATT, GAP, L2CAP, SMP, and audio-related profiles
- Lead Bluetooth stack support for a range of use cases, including data, control, and audio-related profiles such as HFP, Classic Audio, and LE Audio
- Drive resolution of complex interoperability, qualification, customer, and system-level issues
