About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Cash Application Specialist to join our OTC Team. This role would be responsible for daily tracking customer payments in bank, accurately applying the payments, researching payments, researching discrepancies, reconciling bank statement and customer accounts, and supporting the accounts receivable process.
What you'll do
- Research for invoice details from payments, through Accounts Receivable statement, Customer accounts, interaction with Collections & Sales
- Research and resolve unapplied, misapplied, or unidentified payments
- Investigate payment discrepancies and collaborate with customers, Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Customer Service teams to resolve issues
- Reconcile daily cash receipts with bank deposits and accounting records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash application and reconciliation reports
