About the role
The Steel Foreman is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing reinforcement steel works as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves managing steel fixers, coordinating with shuttering, concrete, and engineering teams, and ensuring safe and productive site operations.
What you'll do
- Supervise all reinforcement steel fixing activities at site
- Interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and specifications
- Ensure steel cutting, bending, placement, lapping, anchoring, and tying are executed correctly
- Monitor productivity and ensure daily targets are achieved
- Coordinate with shuttering, formwork, and concreting teams for smooth workflow
