About the role
The Lead Solution Architect drives the development and maintenance of Digital Engineering & Innovation (DE&I) Architecture to create visualizations comparing current and future states of Digital Engineering & Innovation products and services. The role entails aligning SKF IT infrastructure with DE&I and Technology Development Business requirements, ensuring IT systems and technologies are optimized to effectively support business objectives.
What you'll do
- Lead the architecture and design for a future platform of sales, products and services by assessing existing systems and emerging business models and needs
- Continuously research, evaluate, and implement new technologies within DE&I and TD
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains
- Maintain clear communication with DE&I Management and Global IT to confirm alignment between systems and business needs
- Evaluate market technology options for suitability, including software and hardware solutions
