About the role

Data Lab Assistant at Smiths Group. Planning, organising, and conducting extensive image data acquisition projects on Smiths Detection X-ray systems. Activities will be carried out at the local site.

What you'll do

• Preparing X-ray systems and ensuring their operational readiness for image data acquisition (hardware and software)
• Planning, conducting, and organising experiments on X-ray systems (for example, software functionality tests and detection performance evaluations)
• Coordinating the post-processing of image data (for example, labelling & annotation) by internal and external resources, while also providing hands-on support as needed
• Ensuring the quality of image data and annotations
• Structured storage of data in databases and on data servers, utilizing IT tools and scripts for efficient data management and processing
