About the role
The Legal Trainee will support the Legal function of the bank in handling corporate legal matters, including regulatory analysis.
What you'll do
- Conduct research on Indian banking laws and regulations and court judgements, including RBI guidelines and Companies Act
- Track and summarise legal and regulatory updates and court judgements to upload on the tools of the bank
- Assist in preparation of internal legal notes, compliance guidance, and regulatory impact assessments
- Draft and review documentation, including non-disclosure agreements and vendor contracts
- Prepare and update databases to record information, including but not limited to checklists, legal opinions and invoices
