About the role
The candidate will work alongside the existing site IT engineer and share full ownership of the site’s infrastructure, network, end-user computing, and IT security. The role requires a senior professional who can act as the L2/L3 escalation point, run the site independently when required, and drive standardisation, automation, and service-level improvements as the office grows
What you'll do
- Network & Infrastructure Management
- Own day-to-day administration of the site LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches, firewalls, and VPNs supporting 185+ users
- Configure and maintain firewall policies, VLANs, access rules, ISP links, and failover/redundancy
- Administer the Windows Server environment – Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services
- Manage Microsoft Azure and Entra ID resources – virtual machines, storage, networking, NSGs, and conditional access
