About the role
We are seeking a strong Senior Hardware Engineer to design Power electronics and signal conditioning circuits at the heart of SolarEdge’s advanced energy storage products. This is a hands-on design role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines of converter design, signal conditioning circuits, grounding, EMI, robust communication, accurate sensing and measurement — and in how these are verified at the board and full-system level.
What you'll do
- Designing Embedded Electronics Hardware for Battery Management Systems from concept through mass production for advanced energy storage products
- Designing Power electronics converter circuits for Battery Energy storage products
- Designing accurate measurements, robust communication, grounding, and power distribution — at both board and system level
- Owning verification and characterization of your designs, on the bench and within the complete system
- Taking technical ownership of subsystems and driving them independently
