About the role
We are seeking a strong Technical Lead Hardware Engineer to design the digital and mixed-signal boards at the heart of SolarEdge’s advanced energy storage products. This is a hands-on design role for an engineer with deep, real-world experience in the disciplines that make or break a mixed-signal design — grounding, EMI, robust communication, and accurate measurement — and in how these are verified at the board and full-system level.
What you'll do
- Define system architecture and converter topology selection for new product lines; conduct trade-off analysis on efficiency, cost, size, and reliability
- Mentor and guide senior and junior engineers; review detailed designs, simulations, PCB layouts, firmware code, and test results
- Review & Designing digital and mixed-signal boards, from concept through mass production
- Review & Designing accurate measurements, robust communication, grounding, and power distribution — at both board and system level
- Owning verification and characterization of your Project designs, on the bench and within the complete system
