What you'll do
- Defining technical strategy/architecture direction
- Mentoring and growing senior engineers, and driving engineering standards adoption
- Collaborate with AI coding tools - validating, testing, debugging, refining generated code, establishing coding standards and AI guardrails
- Lead end-to-end system design — from requirements decomposition through to deployment topology, data modelling, and API contracts
- Collaborate with engineering managers and product leads on roadmap feasibility, effort estimation, and technical risk assessment
