About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Functional Data Architect with 10+ years of experience to complement the Technical Data Architect on a strategic data transformation program. This role will focus on understanding business data, defining semantic models, establishing common business definitions, and ensuring data is meaningful, consistent, and usable across reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of business processes, data domains, and data usage across the organization
- Define and maintain business-focused data models, semantic layers, and business glossaries
- Partner with business stakeholders to establish common definitions for key entities, metrics, KPIs, and master data
- Work closely with Technical Data Architects to ensure functional and technical data models remain aligned
- Lead data discovery, data mapping, and data lineage workshops
