About the role
Engineer with having SQL database knowledge and willing to work as SQL DBA and flexible to work in shifts.
What you'll do
- Building and configuring new SQL database servers / environments. Calculating and establishing optimum values for database parameters
- Monitoring & troubleshooting the SQL job, installation and configuration of SQL Server, ensuring database availability etc
- Performing Database backup and recovery and monitoring the backup processes through SQL jobs
- Monitor database performance, identifying problems and suggesting improvements
- Planning for Disaster Management and failover to other nodes
