About the role
T&D structural engineers (within the Energy & Resources BU of Stantec), plan, design, and deliver engineering projects primarily in transmission and distribution, power generation and substation sectors. They will also get engaged with O&G, mining, and other heavy industrial process plants as and when required.
What you'll do
- Preparing plans, specifications, and design packages for transmission line projects
- Producing technical presentations and design drawings
- Perform detailed studies, review plans, transmission line modeling and design tasks associated with utilities or other types of projects
- Support construction projects with responding to RFIs
- Optioneering and outline design relating to Transmission & Distribution and Industrial projects
