About the role
State Street Investment Management ("State Street IM," formerly known as State Street Global Advisors or SSGA) is seeking a hands-on software engineer to join the Emerging Technology and Transformation team in India with a focus on Operational Transformation & Innovation.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI applications using Python and modern AI platforms such as Google Gemini Enterprise and frameworks including LangChain and LangGraph
- Develop integrations with large language models (LLMs), APIs, vector databases, prompt management frameworks, and workflow orchestration platforms
- Contribute to the development of AI agents, automation solutions, and intelligent workflows that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes
- Participate in proof-of-concept activities and technical evaluations of emerging technologies, tools, and platforms
- Evaluate AI models, frameworks, and technologies to determine suitability for business use cases and enterprise adoption
