About the role
The Data Operations team within SSGA Investment Operations is seeking a highly motivated and innovative data governance professional. This role collaborates with partners across the firm to execute activities within our Data Modernization Strategy, including establishing a data management culture and enhancing data stewardship.
What you'll do
- Implement the Data Governance Strategy by collaborating with global business and technical partners to define governance objectives, communicate initiatives, issues
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives through business analysis, requirements documentation, and process re-engineering
- Collaborate with data stewards, data consumers, and policymakers to reduce risk and strengthen processes
- Contribute to strategic and tactical initiatives that transition the Organisation from an application-centric to a data-centric architecture
- Perform data operations on the data platform across domains including, but not limited to, Security, Benchmark, Holdings, Client, Product, and Account
